This ancient Indian exercise form is extremely scientific & thus K11 teaches yoga in its purest form - Hatha Yoga. But we also equip our students to teach the popular modern variant – Power Yoga, after the basics are well established. The following is the course content:
  • Introduction to Yoga – Includes Aumkar Uchaar, Definition, History, its evolution, its purpose, misconceptions & types of Yoga
  • Cleansing – Tratak, Aumkar Uchaar
  • Asana – Sukshma vyayama, Types of Asanas, Differential relaxation techniques, Shavasana & its importance
  • Mudras & Bandh
  • Advanced Asana's
  • Shuddhikriya (6-types)
  • Pranayam
  • Meditation (Dhyana)
  • Chakra's
  • Suryanamaskar & Chandranamaskar
  • Introduction to Power Yoga
  • Power yoga related to upper body, lower body & core strengthening
  • Contra-indications for special populations
