The boom in the fitness industry, has attracted a whole host of people not connected to the fitness industry to start fitness/health clubs. Big clubs with internationally branded equipment and plush interiors have now become the norm rather than the exception.

A couple of years back fitness clubs could attract members only on the basis of having high end internationally branded equipment. This was because imported high-end equipment had a USP then, but not anymore. Now your consumer expects this as a minimum requirement. The only way he / she is going to choose your club over the others is on the basis of the training and service you offer. Therefore, despite having its investors, a fitness club must be run by fitness professionals. That’s where we come in.

As consultants we prefer being involved from the setup stage of the project to ensure that the basic criteria for a successful venture are met (see Fitness Club Setup page). Incase you are already a fitness club owner and are interested in us managing your facility, we would have to perform an audit of your club before we accept the offer.

Our fitness club management services include:

Fitness Department:

  • Formulating scientifically proven Fitness programming norms which are result oriented & safe.
  • Fitness staff training workshops: 1 per month.
  • Enlightening & Educational seminars for members on all topics related to fitness: 2 per year.
  • To attend to all fitness queries or member complaints regarding service provided by fitness staff.

Sales Department:

  • Systems to handle sale at club level.
  • Setting up sales targets and achieving it.
  • Campaign planning and execution.
  • Maintaining & building up database.
  • Monthly workshop for training of the sales and front desk staff.

Accounts Department:

  • Providing of income and expense heads.
  • Calculation of salaries and PT commissions.
  • Presenting profit & loss account every month to assess progress on collections.

Human Resource Department:

  • Recruitment of all staff.
  • Planning and execution of staff events.
  • Conducting staff evaluations to decide replacements, Job profiles, increments and promotions.
  • Formulating HR policies with regards to salary, commissions, deductions (Tax, PF, and ESIC If applicable), leaves & benefits.

Operations & Purchase Department:

  • Providing Corporate Communication Management (CCM) Software to facilitate communication & coordination between departments & ensure follow up till tasks are completed.
  • Providing name & contact details of suitable vendors for items required by the fitness club.
  • Providing systems with regards to requisitions & maintenance of stocks at the fitness club.
  • Providing systems for all administration at the fitness club.
  • Providing formats for all fitness, sales, operations & purchase related stationary.

Events & Marketing Department:

  • Planning marketing of the fitness club throughout the year.
  • Providing of marketing material copy & artwork.
  • Planning & execution of events for members such as Seminars, Fitness challenge contests, Fitness testing camps, etc. to generate interest & maximise renewal rate & minimize member attrition.
  • Assuring a large turnout at the events through tried & tested marketing systems.

Maintenance Department:

  • Monitoring and supervising of total spring cleaning activity of the fitness CLUB on maintenance days.
  • Preventive maintenance of all fitness equipments including Steam.
  • Coordinating with Equipment dealers for attending to breakdowns & supervising swift execution of repairs with minimum downtime.
  • Monthly Housekeeping staff, training workshops at the fitness club.

 

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The duration of the fitness club management contract will be 12 months from the date of signing of contract. The renewal of the same will be on mutual consent.
  2. All complimentary memberships will be awarded on approval from the directors in writing.
  3. Hiring and firing of staff will be at the sole discretion of K11. The clients suggestion with regards to this point will always be considered with utmost seriousness.
  4. Any capital expense or any other unplanned expense will be incurred only after approval of the directors in writing.
  5. All running expenses including printing of club stationary (Membership Contract forms, Ex. Schedule cards, Diet sheets, rate cards.), promotional materials (Fliers, banners, hoardings.), equipment spares, annual maintenance contracts, recruitment advertisements etc. to be borne by the client.
  6. All staff will be on the payroll of the club.
  7. Management means all coordination activity - This will be the responsibility of K11 included in the fee mentioned above.
  8. All marketing, promotional material should have “A K11 managed fitness club” written on it. All marketing & promotional material must be approved by K11.
  9. Any marketing  material designed by K11 will be charged as per actuals.
  10. K11 Management as per the process must approve all payments. The directors of the club will sign all cheques.
  11. K11 must have access to all accounts figures.

  14. Monthly progress meetings will be conducted between the directors of the club and K11. To avoid confusion, all correspondence between the directors and K11 must be by mails only. All questions and suggestions that directors may have must be sent to the five heads only:
